Hi BlueAngel....
Death is the absence of life, the opposite of life. Before you were born you didn't exist; and after you die you go back to non-existence.
However, death is temporary. Please read John 5:28, and see that there is going to be one day in the future a resurrection back to life for the righteous and the unrighteous.
This resurrection will be for such ones to be among the living again - to be yourself once again - on earth. Please read Psalms 37:29. In the meantime, until that day comes, the dead are totally unconscious and they don't have an immortal soul. Please read Eccl.9:5&10 and Ezek. 18:4. They just go back to the ground to await the future resurrection day.
This is a wonderful hope that Jehovah holds out to all those whose heart is inclined toward him and wants to live by his standards. Why not get to know Jehovah better by studying the bible?

the Bible says at Ecc 9:5 that the living are conscious that they will die but the dead are conscious of nothing at all and Ezekiel 18:4 says look all the souls to me they belong the soul that is sinning will die so when you are dead you are dead you body is decomposing back to the dust you were created from un till such time as you are resurected Gorbalizer

its a way for everyone to learn about things and experience things, but also to let others come and not make the world crowded. But I guess we will find out when we die if its really the way things work and why they work like they do

gone for awhile before the Judgment but its dangerous cuz God doesnt plan to give immortality to UNrepentant people...so now is the time to pray for His Holy Spirit...
