Are you a female?
If yes could it be stress, your birth control pills, or your shampoo. Find a shampoo that is right for you.

Try buying a shampoo and conditioner pairing that is right for your hair. Keep it healthy so your hair doesn't break. Talk to your hairdresser, also.
Remember that hair naturally falls out. I always lose tons of hair after a shower, and I also lose some whenever I brush my hair.

Go to Nexxus and buy their products for thinning. Also, if Nexxus is not in your price range go to your nearest Sally's and ask one of the sales people there. Sally's hire people who are licensed and knowledgeable about hair types most of the time.

Your hair is falling OUT? IF its falling OUT....use Rogain..it will stop if from falling out..it usually will not grow hair back though...and you have to use it for the rest of your life, because if you stop your hair will start falling out again...it just blocks the hormone production that causes hair loss
