In my opinion it is when they lack self confidence in themselves. When a guy gets a real pretty girl and he isn't confident with himself then he thinks she is too pretty for him and she could do better. I feel that same way about my wife. I don't think that I am a good looking guy, but to me she is very beautiful. It bothers me when guys look at her, because i wonder if she thinks they are better looking than me.

If I tell a girl that, what I am really saying is I am too ugly to have a beautiful girl like you in my life. Most guys do not think that a very pretty girl would go out with the average joe in looks. Pretty girls want the muscular guys in our minds, and we may not fit the bill of what a pretty girl deserves in our minds. We are second rate to whatever girl we tell this to. Does that help?

It seems crazy because it is crazy.
They don't truly mean you're too pretty it's just a line they use to let you down and not look like a jerk. Its a compliment so that they can walk away feeling not guilty. Its basically BS.

It means he's lying. No matter what he says, a girl will analyze it a million ways. The fact is simple... HE'S JUST NOT THAT INTO YOU... thats a book too by the way. Guys don't give "signals". They say it like it is. There are no hidden meanings or agendas, girls just refuse to believe it.

He thinks that he wouldn't be able to keep you. You know, that you might find a guy who is better looking, or just better in one way or another and that you will dump him after he has gotten attached to you. It's kinda sweet, but if you like him, and he likes you, then show him you are truly devoted to HIM and that he doesn't have anything to worry about!

it means they have low self esteem and cant believe that a beautiful girl would want them and they dont wanna take the chance of getting hurt by her. Girls suffer from the same thing

a pair of issues a guy could quite such as you to do: - bypass with him to purchase automobile accesories, pay attention to him and teach interest in what style of oil is he going to get for his automobile. - Sorprise him with something for his automobile, not something girly, consistently ask a male chum. - Invite him to observe a soccer or basketball game with you, have some junk food and beers, and take a seat next to him, and heavily, relish the game, no speaking, no kissing, in simple terms enable him watch the game and luxuriate in it your self.

they may feel its too risky, many guys admit to me that having a gf that is stunning scares the hell out of them, coz theyre worried every guy will try to snap them up and shell go off and ditch them.
think about it, if you suddenly found the hottest guy imageinable youd be abit insecure coz girls are drooling all over him and youd feel hed go off with one? seeee
