I broke up with my bf becasue he cheated on me but I still love him. I'm seeing another guy now, he's great but I can't stop thinking about my ex. I don't want to lose the new guy 'casue he's a nice guy but the feeling for my ex didn't go away yet. What should I do.

So, wait.. lemme see if I understand you. You want to trash a healthy relationship with someone who really likes you and is "great" in favor of potentially going back to someone with a track record of treating you like crap??
Throw yourself into the relationship with the new "great" guy and, in time, your feelings for the loser will fade.

Well you probably got with the new guy too soon before you were ready. I too was in the exact situation a few years ago and I ended up hurting a really nice guy for no reason. I believe that being cheated on is one of the most painful things that someone can go through although I have been through way worse in my life, it is still one of the hardest things. You will think about your ex for a long time and that is totally normal. For you own good though don't consider getting back with him. It will probably just happen again and it will hurt even worse. Also don't hurt the new guy! If you feel that you need to just break it off with him in a nice way and explain that you weren't really ready for a relationship yet. It will probably hurt him but it is better to be honest with him than end up hurting him bad in the long run. My heart goes out to you really!

You need to deal with the feelings. Get some closure, settle anything you left unsettled with your ex. then maybe take some time alone to figure out what it is you really want.

well whether you 'love' your ex or not if he's not gonna change then you shouldn't go back to him u'll just get your feelings hurt again and again...it's a hard decision but you have to think of what's going to be best for you and what you really want
