DEA is in charge of enforcing the apprehension and prosecution of drug dealers.

it would be, in general terms, to enforce FEDERAL Drug law.

this would include things such as drug trafficking between state lines and with foreign countries.

Anything that goes on strictly within the borders of one state would not likely fall under the purview of the DEA, unless specifically listed by statute.

Their only duty is to interfere in people's private lives. They are the 'soldiers' in this idiotic 'War on Drugs'. No law is going to stop anybody from taking drugs.
Legalise, Educate, Regulate and Tax!
Just think: No drug wars, no billions of dollars financing terror, the user trots up to the drugstore, produces an ID to prove he/she is over 18 or 21, and that's it! And billions of dollars in taxes!
