Helllllooo... the war was NOT started by the US...

Gulf War 1 – Iraq invaded Kuwait and the U.N. kicked him out with the U.S. doing most of the work. George Sr. stopped because the U.N. objective was obtained, not because he should have. His mistake for listening to the liberals of the U.N.
Gulf 1.5 – Hussein never complied with the cease fire from the first round so the U.N. ……with the U.S. doing most of the work AGAIN……stepped in to finish the job and free the people from the horrible atrocities being committed upon them.

The mission cannot be accomplished - as the parameters have changed. We removed Sadaam, but the Statesmen allowed a political vacuum to occur. There is no military mission to achieve, except to cover for inept politicians. The Allied military should withdraw. The Military need a mission to function, and that mission should not be simply to cover the arses of useless politicians.

A quickie for "Justme". it's almost exactly what the US government did in WW2 until Dec the 11th 1941 when Germany declared war on the USA if they hadn't the US would probably have done nothing in Europe as they declared neutrality on Sept 5 1939.

I was in the army and I now have my own family. If my son or daughter turn round to me in 16yrs and say mum I am joining the Army I will say good luck to them. Our boys and girls wouldn't be their if they didn't want to be. I want them home to, but they are doing the job they want to do and god bless them for it. Lets hope they come home safe and sound. xxx
