The best pub in Newcastle is Buffalo Joes on the Quayside its open late-it's like the film Coyote Ugly. There's a club directly opposite, think its Baha Beach Club-ther'es always a massive queue so it must be good. if u r hoping to bump into footballers stick to the Quayside and go to Julies 2 club DON'T go to The Cooperage-it's awful. Excellent pubs are the Pitcher & Piano, The Lounge, Quilted Camel (very busy) and Chase. It's not too expensive. Also try and get down to Whitley Bay on the Metro-it's even better and really cheap! I would say Whitley on Friday, town on Saturday. You'll love it! :)

Newcastle has undergone a huge regeneration..there is a terrific amount of quality night life...quite a high police presence too so it is usually pretty safe..there is such a selection of pubs/clubs its hard to select one over another but its is quite compact over a weekend you should be ample to sample a really good selection from Quay-side to St James Park..good luck enjoy our Geordie hospitality..

Quayside and Big market,The Boat isn't the best, but if you are in Newcastle you have to go on it.
Drinks are reasonable UK Prices. Not like London prices.
