A couple of people. I have a "VietNam Vet and Damn Proud of it" bumper sticker on my car. A couple people have left notes under the wiper thanking me. That was special.

I was in the Army for 4 years. No one has ever approached me and thanked me in person, but I have gotten e-mails from people on yahoo answers and they say "thank you for serving" It feels good.

I have never been in the military. However I hope my brother is thanked. He was sent to S. Korea back in June for a whole year. He left his wife, daughter and at the time a 1 mo. old son. I haven't talked to him since and am very worried. Yes I feel the love and the worry! I hope he is alright.

Everyone should be thankful even if you agree with the war or not. More that half of those people really dont want to be over there but they do it to protect their country. I have a few friend over there right now and I think they are the most honorable people on the face of this earth. Someone who is willing to die for someone they dont even know is a saint in my book!

Yea a few times the best was in september when i got back from iraq. We drove through a few small towns on our way to 29 palms and there were all kinds of people out on the streets waving and cheering us on as our buses drove by OORAH

Yes my husband and I constantly get thanked for our service. And I thank others still serving. It really makes service members feel good to know that someone appreciates what they are doing/sacrificing.

not nearly enough, but yes.
my dad is in the navy, so sometimes people thank him or our family for sacraficing so much, but most of america doesn't.
not alot of people even believe in this war and even fewer have the common decency to acknowlege our troops.
twisted america.
