I am a free thinker, but I am a bit odd free thinker bcoz i beleive in Hinduism,Islam,Christianity and Buddhism..I read the scriptures frm these 4 religions. whats so unique bout religion? good question! but b4 dat answer me why acts and regulations is vital for a country? can u pin point 2 me a country which dont have a ruler and acts? Similar to that human mind is very unsteady and unstable..Sometimes he talks like this, sumtimes he talks like that according to his wish and desire..we look a girl we will find like 1 2 sleep with her, den we look at another girl who is more sexy and voluptuous, we will forget d previous girl...Ya we should enjoy every moment of life but that doesnt make us to do whateva v want in life...V should consider the impact of our action to our family, nation and to all humankind..Read the history and get to know how this world was before Jesus arrive or before Muhammad arrive. Our current world will change to that within a hundred years if nobody follows religion...Religion is the way of life prescribed by some persons who achieved enlightenment and are much more wiser than us...Would they tell sumting bad 4 us? But in 2days life somepeople thinks they are wiser then Jesus and they live as they desired...No matter whateva religion u follow, they all teach the same..at first you might feel there is a lot of difference, but at one time when your knowledge become deeper and deeper, you will find that all are the same..Can we teach calculus to a kindergarden student? similar to that it may take some time before we really understand what the religion is...be happy and take care.....

I'm a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
We are unique because we believe that shortly after the Apostles Jesus picked, died, the true Gospel was changed and things plain and precious to it were lost or removed through translation. As such apostasy reigned throughout the Christian world, and the Holy Priesthood was taken from the earth. However, it was restored. Both the true Gospel of Jesus Christ and the Holy Priesthood were restored in a series of visits by both OT prophets, NT Apostles, and even by God the Father and His Son Jesus Christ to a man (and in some cases a second man) in the early and mid 1800's. Other angels also appeared to this man, whose name is Joseph Smith, among them was one named Moroni who testified to him that there was a people who were decendents of the Jews who kept a record that God wanted to give him so he could (through the help of God) translate it so everyone could have the plain and precious truths that had been taken from the Bible. He (Joseph) was allowed to show the plates (the record spoken of) to no one except a certain few whom the Lord would choose. After translating the plates, they were given back to the Lord. Because the plain and precious truths had been restored, it is called the Restoration of the Gospel. It was given, to Joseph Smith, by those who last held proper authority, the Holy Priesthood and he was given the authority to give the gift of the Priesthood to others who were deemed worthy of it.
Many say that Joseph Smith started a new religion, but he didn't, he was just God's instrument to restore what had already been given but had been taken away due to apostasy.
Once I found out that there was a religion that believed as I did/do that the true Christian church would be organized in the same way as the church was back when Christ's Apostles were on the earth, I became very interested in it. Read and studied their teachings and asked God if it was the truth. I recieved answer to my prayer, and within two weeks was baptised into the church.
For me it was that I knew something was missing in both my life and in the other Christian religions, and I knew I could not deny the Christ so there was no reason to look to non-Christian religions. Once I found that there was a church that had what I was searching for, it was a no brainer, I had to be a member - the sooner the better.
So I would say that if someone is looking for something more than what they have, whether it's more knowledge, more understanding, or even just a better understanding of what Christ wants us to do, and what the point of it all is, look into the The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

I consider myself a Christian. It is in fact my middle name, so I feel it reflects a part of who and what I am.
However, here's the rub;
I do not practice a particular religion
I do not require a religion to tell me what I should believe
I'm a freethinker
I possess a deep sense of right and wrong
I enjoy an abiding admiration and love of my friends and people with whom I come into contact
I truly love this world
I believe it was created by God
I trust that all beauty come from God's creation
I feel priviliged to be alive
When I leave this life, I will know I did my best to share with others what has made me happy.

I don't have a religion. I am an animist which is a rather loose term used to describe the spiritual beliefs of tribal peoples. There is no organization to the belief structure or a designated book. It's more like everything has a spirit and that the gods of our world are all around us. A good friend of mine lovingly called me a dirt worshiper.

I am Mormon. I choose to follow this religion because it is the only one that has a Prophet and Twelve apostles. It is the only one that claims to hold the Priesthood of God. And the only one that teaches that Marriage and family relationships can continue after this life. It is the only church that marries for Time and all Eternity not just Till death do you part. And it is the only church that believes in continued revelation. Finnaly I am mormon because of all the religions in the world it is the only one that can explain every aspect of the Gospel of our Lord. His resurection, his death, his preexistance and his mortal life as well as what his role will be in the life to come. God bless and I hope you find the right religion for you.

I am non-denominational christian. I was baptized in a catholic church as a baby, and in 2003 as an adult with better knowledge of spiritualiy, I was baptized in a baptist church, and still had no clue on the meaning behind it, until I joined a non-denominational church and really started hitting my understanding. Noone's religion is better than any other. In the beginning there was no such thing as religion, it was just one God and your personal relationship with him, and there was no Jesus, although I believe in him b/c God chose him to live through. I also respect the islams and the jewish.. Some people may call it confusion, I call it universal, growing, building learning, diversity. There's alot of truth in those, as well as the catholic. I was taught to take the best (positive) out of it and build from it. u can also learn from negative. The main thing that matters in any religion is to have a personal relationship with the higher power, and get to know him as best as you can and watch your knowledge, wisdom and understanding bring u to another level. God is real and there is only one. There is a god within everyone. its up to you to acknowledge it.

I am a spiritualist because I am not tied to the same branch I follow this because it is more understanding and it is one with nature and gives me more time to think on different levels.
People can follow what religion they want I would never try to convert them to mine that is their will.

I follow Odinism, a Germanic Pagan religion which was followed by the Vikings and Saxons among others.
I am not going to say that others should follow my path as religion is about personal choice and saying that mine is the true religion is arrogant and wrong, this is one reason I turned away from christianity.
I rever nature and do not kow tow before my Gods and Goddesess as they do not see me as beneath them. They see me as a friend and equal. In my faith knowledge is important and you expected to learn and ask questions. My deities expect me to enjoy and experience life as much as I can because life is short, I see self denial as ridiculous, by denying fun and enjoyment how can you experience life to its full extent? It is also important to remember ones ancestors and honor them. Family is so very important, family includes friends too. We respect our elders who are wiser than us - by experiencing life to the full you grow wiser - and listen to their advice.
For me it is the right path but you will not see Pagans in the street harrasing people and trying to convert as it is not our way. If you feel that Paganism is for you then you can easily find us in your own time. It isn't forced down your throat.

What religion were you when you were in the womb? Were you closer to God then, than you are now? Religion is just the fools gold to delay the unwary in their hunt for the priceless treasure. For those who seek the pearl of great price, cast away your trinkets. Those who want their cup to be filled - first empty it. Those who want water from the eternal spring must lower themselves to drink. Those who want to be filled with purest truth must first empty themselves of mere belief.

i am a Celtic Pagan.
why should people follow my beliefs...i cannot really tell you that. i follow them because they work for me. i guess that people should maybe take little bits and pieces of this belief system and apply it to their lives. but af for following a religion well that changes with every person and my religion may not be right for someone else.
i follow it because it does not allow me to hate people for their beliefs. it does not allow me to do bad things and then just be forgivven for them. there are repercussions to every thing that i can do either good or bad. and i like that sense oc cosmic justice.
