i am a male with age 20 year. and my lips are also chipping due to dryness. this did not happen before 1 week. and i already use moisturiser etc, so i wonder why is this happening

Try lip balm if not working there could be many contributing factor
maybe: fatigue
Stress
The digestive system needing cleansing
