I've asked that question before. I've also asked the question why are guys into those kinds of girls. I've also been tomboyish at times and girly at other times. All I can say is you probably won't get a definite answer to that question. Everyone is different. What's more a person has different sides to them as well. We all have different qualities. Some are great, some suck, and then there's everything in between. You won't always understand everything people (including yourself) do or think. But the sooner you realize that and are able to just forgive and deal with everyone, the happier you'll be.

u'd be surprised at how competitive all girls r. even those u think r dorks know exactly how to manipulate their appeal.
but the like of u: who r feminie--but do not overdo it, and r not tomboys--yet r sporting r the kind of women who will lead 2moro. u'r success will be measured by ur intelligence and the fact that u can think out of the box.
and remember a lot of women will be immensely jealous of u. take it in ur stride.

I know what you mean - I'm not a stupid girly girl but I'm too into (vintage) fashion to be a tomboy.
Just be yourself and be glad to be you. I bet that in 10 years you'll have a great life and will have achieved something, and they'll still be checking their lipgloss and waiting on some boy.

I hate when people type the way you do. That annoys the crap out of me. But, I know I have no right to try to force you to change that. I know that it's my problem and not yours. See, people are all different in certain ways. We just have to learn to smile and be nice inspite of our differences. Unless what you do harms anyone other than yourself, I have no right to interfere or intrude. If you want to be a tomboy, smoke crack, type like a retard, scratch your rear in public who am I to tell you you can't? As long as you don't hurt anyone else, I can't really tell you how to live your life and you can't tell me how to live mine.

I"m not weird, I may be concerned about what I look like but I certainly don't worry about a broken nail. We were all made differently but lets just live and let live.
