If He hadn't resurrected we would still be dead in our sins. Jesus didn't die and go to heaven. He died and went to hell (see Matthew 12:40, Ephesians 4:9 and Hebrews 2:9). He was there 3 days and 3 nights to taste death for every person (Hebrews 2:9) so that, in His resurrection, all men would have the opportunity to partake of life, and, in His resurrection, He became the firstborn among many brethren (John 1:12 and Colossians 1:18).
Death is not a part of God. In Christ was the life, and the life was the light of men, John 1:4. Yet the Law of Moses concluded that all were dead in the tresspasses of Adam (Romans 5:12, Romans 5:14, 2 Corinthians 5:14, Colossians 2:13).
If Jesus hadn't resurrected from death (the wages of sin is death Romans 6:23), then John 3:16 wouldn't be true:
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

Deep question. Yet important. The atonement is two part. First Christ suffered for our sins. (Garden of Gethsemene) He payed the penelty so we could be cleansed of our sins. But there is another problem. When adam and eve partook of the "forbiden" fruit they were now able to die. This inturn effected all man kind from then on. We were mortal. This was why they were thrown out of the Garden so that they could not partake of the tree of life while in a sinful state and remain that way for ever. Christ's second job was to over come death. His resurection payed the way. This is a free gift given by grace alone. We have no control over it all man kind will be resurected. Salvation is dependent on both parts. Forgivness is in our hands and up to us but the resurection because you and I had no choice about dieing or not is free. I hope this made sence it was not very well orginized on my part.

"And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins" (1st Corinthians 15:17). The resurrection proves Christ's Deity; and the resurrection confirms that God the Father was satisfied with Christ's death for sins. When Christ rose our sins didn't rise with Him!
The Bible makes it clear that Jesus' resurrection isn't a myth or symbol. Instead, it really happened! The hardened Roman soldiers who crucified Him knew He was dead when they took Him down from the cross and laid Him in a borrowed cave-like tomb. But on the third day that tomb was empty, and later hundreds saw Him.
Why is this important? Because it tells us there is hope—hope for this life, and hope beyond the grave. Jesus said, "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies" (John 11:25). This hope can become yours, as you turn in faith to the living Christ and ask Him into your life.

Jesus Christ is the Savior LORD God of Christians but we are talking about the same God when we talk about the persons in Trinity The 'office'/'rank' goes like this The first person in holy Trinity is the Father who is God The second person in holy Trinity is the Son ( Jesus ) who is God ( Here on earth Jesus was fully God and fully human ) The third person in holy Trinity is Holy Spirit who is God Holy Trinity is about one true God and they have different 'functions', manifestations. You seem to believe that the angel can become a human but you cannot believe that all powerful God cannot become human ans still remain as God

the death of Jesus was only the beginning the of
miraculous resurection of Jesus . I belive this was a finial way for man to see just how special God's son really was.If he were only to die and not resurect then men might have remembered him as God's holy son. This is my take on it anyway. Hope you find what your looking for . God bless you.

He is the Head of the Church. His Resurrection is proof of Gods accepting His sacrifice and of our future resurrection. Our hope is hinged on His Resurrection. We don't look merely for forgiveness but for a whole new life. One where He will make all things new and there will be no more curse, no pain or tears, nothing that defiles, and God Himself who declares that at His right hand are pleasures forevermore will dwell with men. l

His resurrection showed that God the Father loved His Son Christ Jesus and raised Him from the dead. Also because Christ conquered death, He is able to lead everyone through the valley of death who believe in Him.

The BIble says the death and suffering was God laying the penalty of our sins upon Jesus and shedding his blood for us. and when he arose he defated death, hell and the grave once and for all. in other words if we have sinned, we have violated Gods law. If we have lied oprstolen or looked with lust, we have sinned aginst him and provoked his wrath, But his wrath fell upon Jesus and he died, the he arose and totally and completly put sin and death out of control for all who will repent (apoligize and turn from sin) and put our full faith and trust in him as Lord and savior.
God Bless

He defeated death, Satan and hell...and we have a choice between going there or choosing heaven. Our sins are forgiven because of Christ's sacrifice. Before the NT, everyone either stayed buried until judgement, or went to hell. Now there's a choice.
