I can't prove it -- I'm not even sure I believe in a personal God anymore.
However, there's a lot of wisdom in the Bible, and not just instruments of social control (though there's a lot of that, to be sure). I still find Jesus' fundamental ethic totally convincing: the acme of human wisdom, as far as I can see. Whatever "God" means, it surely means that which inspires great human wisdom.
So what's that ethic? The ultimate worth of the human person. The equality of all people in the face of God/ultimate reality. The rootedness of the world in a love which embraces and transcends our human, perishing, finite love. And the need to live with mercy, trust, and joy while we're here. It's a profound message, my friend. Take the wheat and leave the chaff.

You have the wrong idea Sir. No one has to prove to you anything! Neither do they have to justify their belief to you! More over, no one cares if you believe or not!
You wrote, to take control! Control of what?
The bottom line of all that I have read in the Bible has to do with how to live with one another. The Old Testament, importance of the Commandments, the New, .loving each other with a reward offered for doing that.
So, where is the taking control? Tell you what, violate the Commandments and see what society will do to you!
Steal? Lie? mess with someones wife = death wish, cheat. All of those could get you in Jail?
So, what is your issue? Do you live your life according to the ten Commandments, or do you love as asked in the New Testament?
Since you have issues with the Bible, why not live opposite its teachings?

carefully look at the events, claims and predictions in the Bible and consider that, the OT at least, was written for Jews.
Humans tend to portray themselves in the best light and would hesitate to predict something that could be easily disproved in their lifetimes. The OT is full of this type of stuff. No human in their right mind would dare write such a thing and expect to get devoted followers.

For the New Testement
Those that wrote it were all on the run from the government in power, they held no position of leadership in the governmemt and did not advocate politial power or control
They all but one were caught and executed for thier teachings
They all died without any money or property,
Those that were not executed spent most of thier life in prison.
So that sorta blows that idea.

I cant because i beleive as you do. the bible was written by man to gain power and controll. to put fear into Christians. god is loving and careing and the bible perseives him as angry and fearful. If there is a god i know hes got to be gental...not a tyrant who points fingers and destroys things.

This is not something to be proven by men. It is proven by God. Jesus tells us, "If you love me, you will obey what I command. And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Counselor to be with you forever-- the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you."
If we love Him and obey Him, He will prove it! I sincerely ask you to try if for yourself...If you are one who must test things to determine whether or not they are true, then test this.

That's not my job.
I convey His message. You either take it or leave it.
I can urge you (Luke 14:23) and I can reason with you (1Peter 3:15) but I'm not going to attempt to bring you kicking and screaming. It's your decision.

From your question, your heart is already hardened against God therefore to give you my knowledge would be as throwing my pearls before swine (no offense)
