Unfortunately it seems to be. When I was in truck driving school one thing they always preached was Always signal your intentions. So even if your just changing lanes you should use your turn signals. I think one of the reasons that so many people dont use them is because we have turned into an Its all about me society.

It seems to be. I'd say I only notice about 25% of drivers on the road using it, and along with that, the area I live in people don't seem to register the existence of "Yield" signs.
People in general are all bad drivers, that's why I think we need to have more intensive driving tests to get our liscences in the first place, along with everybody taking a road test everytime they need to renew their liscence.

people wait far too long to use it, if they use it at all. The only case where i think u do NOT need to use it is at the end of an exit ramp and the lane turns only one way....

awww man! when you're waiting to make a left turn at the light and you're waiting for the scientist coming in the opposite direction to pass....and they make a right turn without signaling....AND on the cell phone!!!! AAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!! BANG! BANG! BANG! SUCKA!

i can't stand it when people don't use turn signals! it's so annoying.. my stepfather doesn't use his and my mom yells at him all the time for it. the only time i don't use mine is if i'm the only one on the road.

Turn, then blink is the way most people have come to use them anymore. What are they teaching these people these days.
