The first Christians claimed Jesus was born of the Virgin Mary for a very good reason: They were absolutely convinced that it actually happened.

Remember, Mary expressed disbelief when the angel first told her what was about to happen. And yet the Bible's witness is clear: "The angel answered, 'The Holy Spirit will come upon you. ... So the holy one to be born will be called the Son of God'" (Luke 1:35). Jesus' first followers knew His mother and His immediate family well, because they often followed Him from place to place. If the virgin birth was only a myth, those disciples would have known it, and neither they nor Mary would have allowed it to be proclaimed.

It's significant that the most thorough Gospel account of the virgin birth was written by Luke, who was a medical doctor. If anyone knew the impossibility of a virgin birth it was Luke—and yet, after careful research, he knew it was a fact. The God who was powerful enough to create the whole universe also was powerful enough to bring Jesus into the world without a human father.

You will only understand the virgin birth of Jesus when you understand who He was: the divine Son of God, sent from heaven to save us from our sins. His miraculous birth was a sign, pointing the way to our salvation. Why not put your life into His hands?

Yes.

The angel Gabriel said to Mary, "The Holy Spirit will come upon you and the power of the Most High will cover you with its shadow." (Luke 1:35)

This however was not the Immaculate Conception.

The angel Gabriel also called Mary, "Full of grace" and said, "The Lord is with you." Mary is full of grace at that moment; the Lord is with her at that moment, before she says "yes" to the angel's question.

Catholics believe the state of grace was with Mary since she was conceived at her Immaculate Conception. God prepared her for her later role as the mother of Jesus.

With love in Christ.

The Immaculate Conception is the Catholic doctrine that states that Mary the mother of Jesus was born without the stain of original sin so that it can be said that Jesus himself was never touched by original sin.

You are referring to the Virgin Birth. Is it true? Well, it's part of Christian belief, which makes it true for many of us. Is it factual, or how exactly did it happen? Can't help you there.

Immaculate conception is not the same as virgin birth.

But aside from that, there is no way to verify the claim, and as it is far from the norm, it should be discounted. Further, there is no prophesy that requires that the Messiah be born of a virgin.

properly at the start, once you're praying the rosary to Mary or the different saint, you're doing it incorrect. The hail marys are there that may assist you meditate (i.e. focus) on the existence of Christ (the mysteries), subsequently a prayer to Christ, not Mary. Praying to a saint isn't everywhere in the bible, yet you ought to submit to in concepts that there have been no saints in heaven yet. Of all of the righteous people who had lived as much as that factor, in basic terms Moses and Elijah had long previous to heaven, and Jesus spoke to the two one among them in scripture. that's precise. A grand finished of the two saints in heaven have been spoken to in the bible. If that's not stable sufficient, i don't comprehend what's. yet wait, there is extra! (act now and you gets...j/ok) Revelations 8:3-4 describes an angel as a caretaker of the prayers of those in the international. If he can hear them and take them directly to God almighty, why ought to saints not gain this? it may make no experience to permit angels yet not saints to do this element. besides Psalms 29:a million-2 is extremely a prayer TO an angel. lower back, if people can pray to angels, why not the saints in heaven? consistently submit to in concepts that the be conscious "pray" potential just to "ask". you have considered it used this form in case you have ever examine or watched something by using Shakespeare ("I pray thee, tell me...") So asking (praying) saints in heaven to desire for you isn't any diverse than asking (praying!) saints in the international to desire for you, different than that those in heaven are a ways closer to God. additionally submit to in concepts that on an identical time as some thing won't be in the bible (although praying to saints is in a fashion), that doesn't propose that it extremely is forbidden. Is your pc in the bible? Or altar calls? Or any sort of the different issues? of direction not. And yet they are allowed by way of fact they don't contradict the bible.
