I am sooo very design challenged it is humiliating. Who do I get in touch with to help with making my home look nice? I have no clue how to hang pics, what colors to use, how to place furniture, etc.. what does it typically cost? Thanks for any help you can offer.

There are several programs on cable today; HGTV is my wife's favorite.
You may have to ask some of your friends for help when moving furniture.
Take your time, have a plan or theme for each room, and do only one room at a time.

Watch a lot of the DIY network, TLC, Discovery Home and HGTV. You'll be picking up ideas left and right.

Buy some Home Decorating magazines, I saw a new book that looked good, it was called Change your home, change your life. It had a lot of pictures and seemed really good.

girl call a furniture designer or go to a furniture store and ask questains or get your freinds to help, but only those who know how to design a house to look good

It's no necessary to be design savvy to decorate your house.
Make a plan and follow it.
Go to HGTV.com and search in this web site. There is a lot of usefull information there.
