Usually after 11:00 a.m., but sometimes if you stay past 9:00 a.m. you will be billed for that day. Ask the hospital billing department and, if need be, ask for an exception (or ask your doctor to do it for you).

A hospital is not a hotel. They will bill you at the beginning of every 24 hour period regardless of how much of that 24 hours you use.
