Our network has recently been upgraded with new Cisco switches. All of the computers are set to Auto config (speed/duplex). Is there a command or a place to look to see what duplex (half or full) the PC is currently running at? We have some old cabling and I want to find out if it supports Full duplex or not.

Some of the cables only have 4 wires connected instead of the usual 8...that's what is leading me to believe they are only half duplex.

Cabling has nothing to do with half or full. It is the hubs and switches that handles that.
