Honestly....i don't really think it is. I think that it's just a crush, just infatuation. Do you actually know anything about him and i'm not just talking about the basics. Do you REALLY KNOW HIM? Is he what you REALLY want for REAL LOVE????

In my experience, normally a crush of any kind is never true love. What does your heart tell you? If you can see this person with all his faults and still are enamored by him then maybe you have the makings of a true love relationship. How does he feel about you? If you don't know then your question may never be answered fully. Even if he feels the same way that you do, this may just be an attraction and not love. You have to ask yourself, if this guy did something to hurt you could you forgive him from your heart? If the answer is no, then your question has been answered. If you believe that you can forgive him no matter what, then you will know when the time is right. If you are still in school this really should be the least of your concerns. There are so many of us who struggle with this as we grow up. But after we have matured enough to see that, then we can allow life to point us in the right direction and often times it is when we least expect it that we will find THE one if we are meant to do so. I don't want to discourage you but realize that having a crush is usually just that, a crush. There are not too many times that a crush evolves into anything else but, who knows. Good luck with it and if it does not work out then be patient and something even better will.

It may be true love. It is hard to tell true love from a crush. In my opinion, you have to have a real relationship in order to truly fall in love. You obviously have a strong attraction to him and this is necessary for true love. Is there a chance he feels the same way? You didn't say how old you are, but if you are of dating age, then start talking to him more. Ask him what he does on the weekends. Work it girl!! It sounds like it would be worth it.

If there is one peice of advice I can give anyone about true love, it is that if there is any doubt in your mind, any feeling that tells you against it, then it is not true love. For you to ask the question: is it true love suggests that it is not.
However it sounds like you really like this guy, so keep at it and who knows if you take it further, it could well be true love. Good luck with that.

If you have to ask, the answer is probably no. When you truly love and are loved in return, there is no question - you just know it in your heart. It's a very peaceful feeling with no anxiety and no questions. You are accepted no matter what, you can say whatever is on your mind and in your heart without fear of being thought odd. It goes beyond "in love" or "in lust" and makes every single minute worth living.

Has anything happened ever since? Did you make a move? How does he treat you? True love is not a one way thing. If he feels the same way about you, then it is true love. Congrats!

Maybe.. but probably not. Do you really know what he's like from a girlfriends point of view? I think the only way to see if somethings there is to hang out with him, maybe he wants a more serious relationship too. Ask yourself this: Can you picture life with out him? If you can then you don't really love him

True love is more than a long time crush. We would need to know more about your relationship before we can make that judgement.
If you love him more than yourself, and care about his happiness and well-being more than your own, then it's love.

Probably not. True love doesn't usually show up until you least expect it. It usually happens when the guy likes you back.
