No - nobody wants to die because death is unacceptable to us. So, not many right-minded people would answer yes. The reason it's unacceptable to us is - God didn't originally make us to die, he created us to live forever.
ROMANS 5:12 shows that sin & death was only introduced into mankind's genes etc when Adam ate the fruit. If he had not done so, then we would live forever.
Doesn't that make sense when we also look at ECCLESIASTES 3:11. For it shows that we LONG to live forever - none of us want to die (unless maybe we have a terrible illness but that was also introduced at the time of Adams disobedience)
Surely, a loving God (1 JOHN 4:8) would not create us with a longing for something that is unattainable.
That is because death wasn't God's original purpose for mankind - and his original purpose will be fulfilled.

PSALM 37:29

Absolutely not. By not knowing, I can live each day as if it were my last, yet have all the hopes for tomorrow and beyond.
If I knew the day of my demise, I'm afraid I would face it with dread. I wouldn't want to live those last days/weeks knowing I was going to my doom.

One of the cruelst plights of humans is that we know we are going to die. It takes a lifetime to accept our mortality. I don't want to know when it's going to happen. Then I would be sad and depressed for the rest of my life. Ignorance truly is bliss at times.

that's a typical question.well.partially would and partially i would not.why i don't want is that just think living this wonder full world dieing.and also it's difficult may be you don't know how you are going to die.why i would want to know is that firstly i am a christian i believe in life after death ,so if i know when i am going to die i will repent and get baptised so that i know i will be clean to god.that's what i think

No, if I could I wouldn't want to know the day of my death. I'll leave that up to God. He knew the date of my birth and He knows when He will call me home and I like it just that way.

that's a catch 22...
sometimes thinking something dreadful may happen is the very action which causes it. ...a self-fulfilling prophesy so to speak...
sometimes if you know something "for sure" life throws a curveball at you and makes you off balance causing you to fret and worry and fear longer or for more than one reason.
In the words of MAD Magazine mascot "What me worry?"
There's enough stuff to worry about without adding your "possible" end date to the mix....
"Worry not for what tomorrow brings, for tomorrow will take care of itself..." (Not sure what Bible verse that is but I learned it a long time ago as a tadpole.
Words to live by....

Wow... that's deep. Would I know HOW I would die? Would I know all the circumstances? Or would I only know that on a specific date, my time would be up?

It is appointed unto man once to die then the judgement.
No, it's not really necessary, since we are not promised tomorrow!

Sure. It would give me time to plan for my arrival on the other side. Frankly, any day is a good day to die. I have no fear of death.
