This country has copied the bad examples of the blacks and is turning into a country of degenerates. No, I'm not angry or mad. I'm sitting here stairing out my window and watching the youth of today looking like fools. Do they really think that this crap will get them laid or something?

Anyone who joins a gang (black, white, Hispanic, Asian, etc.) simply lacks independence skills and relies on the gang leader for focus and direction. Some gang leaders have 4th grade educations. Blacks should not be singled out for this trend - the blame lies on society as a whole.
To the poster who denigrates "hip hop culture", I agree with you that the "Atlanta" version of hip hop culture is degrading BUT many rappers from the onset of hip hop nearly 30 years ago have portrayed women in very positive lights. These positive artists depict the reality on the streets rather than glossing over selling drugs from Escalades while parked at the club. Why, I could wear a wifebeater shirt, a do-rag and baggy jeans and make a rap record like the "Atlanta" rappers; However, I would strive to be the Greek Jay-Z, if that were possible.

Why is it that when when you act ignorant its called acting black and when you act intelligent and educated its called acting white? I tell you, its so unfair. Why is black associated with ignorance. Ppl think I act white becasue I make good grades and talk in coherent sentences.
You should attribute ppls ignorance to the hip hiop culture, which some young ppl of all races follow. You should call that ignorant acting asain, or any other race for that matter a an idiot, a follower, a degenerate...what ever. I didn't know all white men spoke with "British" accents and listen to classical music, learn something new everyday. Anyway, African-American people who are to seen to "act" more white are often called Oreos (at least, that's what I've been called a few times in my life).

Why would you refer to the the black race as being ignorant. There are plenty of ignorant people in this world, like yourself, and they are not all black. Ignorance is not a race, Ignorance means lack of knowledge. There is no such thing as acting black, and as a black person, I take offense to that. I am very educated and for being only 19, I probably live a lot better than most people 10 years older than me. So think twice about insulting another race you opprobrious imbecile.

You can't "act" Black. There's no such thing. Not all Black people are ignorant, not all of us speak incorrectly, and we're not all ghetto. I cannot stand when people glorify ignorance. Personally... I never liked the whole Hip hop culture. I believe it is degrading to women, uses the condition of the poor African American people to sell records, make millions and then flaunt their stuff in the face of the very people who paid for it.
It is a poor example of humanity and a poor example to set for children, it is ridiculous and advocates illiteracy and gang violence. Not to mention, it takes advantage of the third world countries that kill, die and suffer to mine the diamonds in their "Bling." The leather in their shoes and bags and the designs in their fabrics... It is sensationalism at it's very worst!
I not only think the white kids and the Asians look stupid and act ignorant when exposed to this culture... but I also think the African American culture looks JUST as ignorant and just as ridiculous.
As far as them doing it to "Get laid." Ignorance breeds ignorance, The girls gone wild video girls just needed someone to love and no one uses women better than Rappers and Joe!
