I stained my kitchen cabinets this week with that awful smelling dark wood stainer and I was wondering if there was any advice on what I could do to help them dry faster. I want to hurry and get rid of that smell.

What did the can say? Stain only usually takes 24hrs to dry? Maybe u didn't read it right? Usually Polly will stop the stain stink, but it has a smell of its own. Most kitchens are done in satin-- not hi-gloss, made that mistake:(...

It is a multi-step process.
1. Open windows
2. Place fans in windows - intake on one side and exhaust on other side of house.
3. Find a good movie, preferably a double-feature.
4. Go watch it.

How is the humidity where you live if it is not toocold turn on the AC it will help dry it out after it has dried change the air filter in the AC

You can put them in an oven, or tie them to the top of your car and drive around town (not recommended if you have a ford festiva).

you are too late , you should have added some naptha to the stain before you applied it ...now youll just have to wait it out....painting contractor
