Look if you are determinied and can bite your tongue you are set to go. It's a lot of physically demanding driling and PT as you would suspect but be prepared to be "beat" down. It is a lot of denying you what yoou want to prepare you for the greatest family you can imagine.
Best advise, keep your nose clean watch your brothers and sisters if you get a mixed class and be proud of everything you do. It's so worth it all come graduation day.
Silly side practice your yes sirs and mames :)
Good luck and God bless amybe our paths will cross once you get out.

learn to fold clothes, march a little, say yes sir/ no sir, learn about ships and airplanes, run and do a few push ups. really the most difficult part about Navy boot camp for me was being homesick. you also get yelled at. Just realize that the drill insturctors are doing their job. you cannot take it personally. I am 34 years old and some of the best memories of my life have also been the hardest. I remember every time I was yelled at fondly, and it made me a better person. I hated the drill instructors when it was happenning, though. IF MS1 LUTZENBERGER, CHEIF MONEY, AND SENIOR CHIEF CLARK ARE READING THIS, I JUST WANTED TO SAY THANKS! GREAT LAKES COMPANY 217. JULY 1990.

Navy Boot Camp is hell! My son and I have both served in the Navy and we agree. Best thing is to swallow your pride and obey every order to the best of your ability. You will still catch hell occasionally, but you will suffer a lot less than those that buck the system. The day you graduate will be one of the best days of your life. I don't think you will regret serving in the Navy.
Good luck

It's just like Army bootcamp, but a little more wet. Actually, I've heard its a little easier than Army/Marines, and not quite as cooshy as Air Force.
More of an annoyance than anything else, because they lock everything you do down. If you're already physically fit, then it won't be a big deal. If not, then you're in for a rough ride.

Boot camp is a nice place for relaxation. You can run, sleep, drill and make push ups as many as you can.

u in luck, not days navy bootcamp is probably the easiest ever since start of navy bootcamp, they cut down alot of trading day, spend way alot more time in indoor, instead of walking marching all days to one building to another. basically i am saying u would go out the buidling much, almost everything is in the building. alot of training u get is very basic, not really helping u in carrer unless u surface rate. aviation good luck.
