Why is it the Old Testament Isaiah 41:29 says that God made oceans for Leviathan and cursed him in theNew?

I read in the scriptures this morning how God made the oceans for Leviathan to play in. Then in The Revelation of Saint John the divine it states "woe unto thee leviathan thou wicked serpant" what is the deal?Are they trying to trick us into losing our immortal souls by lieing to us making us christian believers into idolators?

Leviathan: IE a legendary sea-monster representing the forces of chaos that opposed the Creator.
