There is no cure for ALS at the moment.

Our understanding of the disease is rapidly progressing and the more we understand the more we can target the disease processes to try and improve the outlook for patients with ALS. I think cure is a bit much to ask at the moment - but treatments may be available in the not too distant future. There are several promising compounds in clinical trials at the moment.

There is no cure yet but researchers feel that a cure may be found before the next decade. I've done research for an ALS Research Fund I am setting up to benefit the Eleanor and Lou Gehrig ALS Research Center at Clolumbia Hospital in NYC.
