The coolest graphic or commercial artist? Yes. Best ever! However he was not really a fine artist in the 'high art' sense of the word. Nevermind, his originals fetch as much today as any of his 'high art' contemporaries. Love what you love.

I like his drawings and posters. Very facile draughtsman.

I prefer Degas for documenting the life of French society, and even for sheer draughtsmanship. But I have a spot in my heart for T-L.

He was pretty cool! I also think his life was very interesting. Partying in bars, dating prostitutes, and having a physical disability.... he was one crazy one!

As an artist, he was quite the character...but judging him based on his work, he gets more credit than he deserves.
