when i say temptation i mean things in life you really want to do but you're not aload to do.

as ignore it totally or take alternatives, also think about the consequences, will it hurt someone unjustly, have you accumulate demerits, measures your gratefullness to a cause, your sins will not only reflect on you but to all your groups.

I stay away from people and situations that might put me in a potentially tempting situation. For example, if i had a problem with pornography, I would not go near the magazine section or to those sites on the internet.

each and every one of us is tempted every day. from minor things like a donut or candy bar to bigger things like pilfering from the place of employment to shoplifting are a few day to day situations. the fear of being caught to the various punishments are deterrents for average people to some of these temptations along with the satisfaction of looking at that donut and saying to yourself " looks good but I really don't need it " and walking away.

The steps in order in the Bible are (1) submit to God, then (2) resist the devil - and he will flee from you. However, in some cases we are told to flee from temptation.

you have to pray for help, and guidence. the bst way is to ask for help. if you knwo u are tempted by something and you knwo its wrong but you want to do it anyways, thats when you say god i cant do this on my own, get me away from this. once satan sees you wont fall for it anymore, he will move on. sadly just to another tempation. but if you reconize it, that is the biggest step! distract yoursel with other things, movies, puzzles, goin out with friends, tv, reading, whatever
