before the great flood the atmosphere had a different makeup ... there was much more moisture in the air ... not only did this serve the purpose of watering the earth without rain but it also blocked out the suns harmful rays which allowed the great ages of humans pre-flood .. so yes, how are rainbows formed? through rain and the new makeup of the atmosphere and where the water has gone to like the ice caps ... it is a sign that there will never be a great flood again yes, but dont oversimplify it ... the evidence is all around us.

When I look at a rainbow, I think of the science behind it & beauty of the world and not of what a religious/sunday school teacher tried to brainwash me with.
