Anyone go there for BCT. I just got back from MEPS and I ship NOV 1. What's the weather like? Is Ft. benning as bas *** as they say it is?

My DH went there in 2002, but he was there in the Summer. He said it wasn't that bad...he was on Sand Hill. But, remember, the DI's are not there to be your buddy, though I have heard that the Training is suppose to be more 'friendly' where they can't/don't yell at you like when he was in....it was nowhere near what it was like when I went through.
Just remember, BCT/AIT/Military Career in general is only what you put into it and get out of it...

Ft. Benning is a nice area, but don't spend all your money at the strip clubs on Victory drive!

i admire your desire to be an Infantryman. do no longer sell short the different attempt against arms. Artillery is a sturdy thank you to pass. You bark over here and bite over yonder. Armor and Cav are different sturdy thoughts. You experience around in style. Duck Hunters have a sturdy lot in existence . Although I was there YEARS ago...November was constantly cold...but nowadays the winter gear is more equipped.
As far as bad***...it depends on your mindset. I had fun. I knew it was all a mind game so it made it fun for me.
