Do those clever people at the gym always do this...
I really do try and overt my eyes from the immediate surroundings but it so hard all the time.

I know the feeling! The Gym that I go to is quite large, with 100's of machines, but there's always going to have to be something opposite or near machines like the thigh toning one. Just wear dark glasses, they'll never know !!

Tell the gym management that you find it akward or embarrasing to use the jogging machine with it being where it is. They should see the problem for what it is, and if they have any sense they'll move it. You're the customer so you're entitled to make your feelings known.

Remind me to avoid your gym. The cross trainer at my gym gives me a birds eye view of the guys doing weights, so it works both ways.
