Every US citizen enjoys our civil liberties and the protection we were given via the Constitution on our home turf. Every person whether legal or illegal in the US has the same rights as you and. Is this fair? I think it is.

Every US citizen has constitutional rights as against his or her government worldwide.

Every noncitizen has (nearly all) such rights while in the United States.

The Bush Administration does not concede the point as to enemy combatants. And the Supreme Court has carved an exception in terms of the Ker-Frisbie doctrine (see the Alvarez-Machain case) where an alien is kidnapped abroad and forcibly brought to the USA for prosecution.

But compare the response of the USG as between Mexico (Alvarez Machain) and Canada (Ron Anderson)

The mistake is when Illegal aliens regard (make that steal) services and goods that are entitlements as though they were Human rights.

There's a difference between rights and entitlements. Not everything purchased with taxes is meant to fulfill constitutional rights. Many are services and infrastructure that are meant to serve beyond basic basic human rights. For example, nothing in the constitution says it's a human right to drive, so citizens are (or should be) entitled to choose who drives on the roads they purchase through taxes, and under which circumstances. Illegal aliens are not entitled by right to Driver's licenses.

ILLEGAL ALIENS Are NOT Afforded Constitutional Rights

These Rights Are Reserved For US CITIZENS
And LEGAL Immigrants

Just Imagine If ILLEGAL ALIENS Did Have Constitutional Rights

2nd Amendment Anyone ?

The right of the People to keep and bear arms ?

Imagine More Than 20 Million Gun Toting ILLEGAL ALIENS
Protected By The Constitution

Lock n Load America

The rights we acquire we do so from being US citizen if we travel to another country then the only rights we have in within the ground of the US consulate other than that we have no rights so why should they. If we goto Mexico (for example) and get caught doing something Illegal we will be sent to jail with no sympathy so what is the deal here people why are we so lenient

well, they have the right to immigrate legally, if they dont do the paperwork we have the right to toss them back out, that seems fair too. We have that constitution cause we fought to rule ourselves, for the right to make our own laws, so not only are the illegals breaking the law, they are disrespecting everything we stand for by doing so.

Not only is it a lie but it would be unfair if it were true. A prisoner in our penitentiary's does not have the same rights as I do because his freedom was taken away. An illegal immigrant is a criminal and should be treated as such.

I am here LEGALLY, and I must say I do NOT think it is fair that someone can just sneak in and have the same rights as me. as I did the RIGHT THING by going through all the red-tape bullshit in order to make sure I did everything legally. If I could do it, so can they.
And I do agree that most americans are blissfully ignorant, when me and my husband wanted to get married, we thought it would be a "breeze", especially since I am from a western rich european country, but BOY were we WRONG! They even wanted "proof" that we were in love, we had to have love-letters written to eachother ready on hand for scrutiny! Nough said!
And my husband had to sign a paper saying HE was responsible for me financially if I decided NOT to work, so I can not sit on my *** and get money from the government. Fair enough.

i believe all citizens have these rights, and i stress citizens. my parents are immigrants from the soviet union, it was a lot more difficult to get to America for them then it would be for most illegals. they went through a lot to earn the rights that they have
