it really annoys me when i see people talk about race so much possitive or negative

Because everyone has their preferences; it doesn't have to make you good or bad if you keep it in check and if you are mentally stable. One of my parents is white and the other black so I look hispanic. My husband is light skin hispanic but when my oldest daughter was born she could have been from India, I could have said she was even Native American and adopted since she had her beautiful dark skin color and long hair as she grew older. As my oldest daughter grew she became even more beautiful and really didn't look like my daughter at all. My youngest looks perfectly like me. My oldest daughter ask me one day why God made her so different from myself; I replied because you were very close to him when you were born. I taught both of my children that God is perfect whether you are born light, dark, with arms or without, with legs, or without. You are beautiful as long as you don't hurt others for being different and allow others to have their point of view without it being an insult to yourself.

I can't speak for the majority, but I care about skin color. Not the way you mean it, though. I care about it the same way I care about hair color--sometimes it make a woman more attractive, sometimes it doesn't. It's all in how she uses what she's got. And no, I really wouldn't think white people would be embarassed by interracial dating. If they are, the hell with 'em. You don't want to date that one in the first place.

B/c their parents instil it in them, like mine tried to do. I'm not prejudice and I'm sure that they don't like it, but oh well. It gets old, especially living in the south. I don't think people in the south will ever get over it. When people make racial jokes, I don't laugh b/c I don't think the **** is funny. Just b/c people have different skin color doesn't mean that they don't have a soul or feelings. And just b/c one person out of one race does something to you doesn't mean that they are all like that. That's stupid to think like that. These racist people will be in for a shock when they die b/c all races are getting in to heaven................

Because race is more than just skin color, it involves cultures and those values that influence the members of certain races

Pay attention and you will notice that it's just one particular race that is stuck on it. This particular race no longer seeks equality, but rather supremacy. Everybody else is just trying to get along but the blacks continue to cause separatism. They just refuse to blend in as one like they claim they want.

There is a difference between preference and racism. Discriminate on the person, not on the race. Just my 2 cents....

Isn't it funny that so many people are racist against dark skinned people, yet so many of them pay good money to tanning salons and worship the sun.

Because our vision is one of our keenest senses and our most obvious. What we wear on our bodies defines us, as does the color of our skin. I'm not saying this is good or bad; it just is.

It annoys me too, and I can't understand why they do it, I've given up and just ignore them.
