I mean it was written by men but we say it is the word of God, how is that? Did god tell them exactly what to say?

The doctrine of the inspiration of the Bible means that the Bible in the original documents is God-breathed, that they are a divine product, and because they are divine, they are inerrant in the original documents. The copies of those documents are not inspired. We have copies of inspired documents.
2 Tim. 3:16-17 says, "All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; 17 that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work." Paul who wrote this epistle was obviously referring to the entirety of the Old Testament as being inspired. The word "inspired" is literally "God breathed." This is an interesting phrase since it implies that the Scriptures are from the mouth of God.

Yes, those men were inspired by God's Holy Spirit on what to write. (2 Timothy 3:16, 17)

Sure it is, like this:
Exodus 11:5 And all the firstborn in the land of Egypt shall die, from the first born of Pharaoh that sitteth upon his throne, even unto the firstborn of the maidservant that is behind the mill; and all the firstborn of beasts.
11:6 And there shall be a great cry throughout all the land of Egypt, such as there was none like it, nor shall be like it any more.
11:7 But against any of the children of Israel shall not a dog move his tongue, against man or beast: that ye may know how that the LORD doth put a difference between the Egyptians and Israel

We have a witness of the Holy Spirit that testifies within our hearts that confirms this scripture:

2 Peter 1:21
For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

Is the Bible divinely inspired? Yes! How can we know? Jesus tells us, "If you love me, you will obey what I command. And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Counselor to be with you forever-- the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you."

If we love Him and obey Him, He will prove it!

It was written by men who say they were inpired by God and the believers simply accept that without question ("there's a sucker born every minute"). Most likely if there is a God, He/She/It has nothing to do whatsoever with the Bible (or the Koran, or any other so-called holy text).

2 TIMOTHY 3:16-17

16 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

17 that the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

God spoke through the men. It's like the men could put out their hand and it begins to move. God moved that pen in their hand. He told them what to say and to who and how and what not. Every word in the bible is God Breathed. That means, he wrote every single word

I believe that it was inspired by the same sense that my last trip to the WC was inspired.
