Has anyone ever looked at a package of red licorice??? It plainly says "Strawberry". !!!

Yup! Once I tried eating read licorice and I threw up! I never will eat red licorice AGAIN! Ugghhhh....and I thought it tasted like real strawbarries! Its FAR from strawbaries they will ever get. So to me....I like regular strawbarries then licorice!

There are two questions.
Licorice preference depends on the person. I dislike black licorice, but red licorice is fine.
BTW, strawberry is not attached to red licorice.
But there are far worse things that strawberries got mixed up with. Just check the breakfast cereal aisle in your store.
"Strawberry Pop Tarts": they neither pop, nor look like a tart. They should be banned from a civilized society.
As well as any other cereals with artificial strawberry coloring or flavor - they should be also banned.
And strawberry-flavored yogurt slathered onto granola bars - that is just way over the top.
Need I mention strawberry Jell-o? Let's not even go there.

Actually I believe licorice only comes in 1 flavor...black. All of the rest is just candy. It says licorice flavored or twists or something but it's not licorice. I really don't care for licorice. I prefer the red , strawberry or even raspberry.

Strawberry isn't attached to red licorice. Red licorice is just red licorice, a blend of flavors, and the dye makes it red, not the flavoring.

I prefer the black licorice and if I can't get that I get the cherry. But strawberry is like eating sugary play dough.

NO!!!! Red Licorice is the best, especially red laces. Though I like black licorice too. Black jelly beans are the absolute bomb though!
