Okay, this is going to sound strange, but I chew the inside of my cheeks. I don't even remember when I started, but I've already have had one surgery to cut out a growth from the inside of my left cheek and it was because of this wierd habit. It's almost impossible to stop because I've been doing this for so long. I know it's crazy!

My nervous habit is smoking and I am in the process of quitting it! It's a nasty habit!

I gather the ends of a small lock of hair into a fold and then flick it with my finger. Usually at neck level. I try not to do this in meetings, but I just find myself absent-mindedly doing it - it's more a concentrating thing, but it drives me crazy.

I dig my fingernails into my palm. If I'm really worked up, I leave bruises in the shape of my nails. I don't wear artificial nails, so my natural nails can get pretty sharp. I cut myself once! I've broken more than one nail that way.

I'm weird, but I bite/chew the skin around my nails-not biting my nails-but the skin.

Nail Biting and it's nasty and i hate it but have never been able to completely stop it.
