No, but we can make ourselves believe that we have a soul mate. It might just be two people, happening to meet in the right place, at the right time, and have things in common. Sure it might be rare to meet that compatible person, but odds are there's definately more than one. Love might lead someone to believe in soul mates or that they were meant to be with another person, but if they break up, then obviously not.

I believe in soul mates. I think that you can be soul mate to more than one person. It's no necessary that this person i s your loved one. The soul mate could be from the same sex, your friend, that shares the same interests and has the same belives.

I believe God has created male and female in pairs which leads me to the conclusion: Yes.I know my soul mate is a perfect match for me in every way.At first I didn't think so,so I went window shopping for about 16yrs. then after trying out all the wrong ones,I found what I was looking for in the one God made for me.Took me one hell of alot of hard knocks to beat some sense in my hard head but you know looking back it was exactly what I needed.When I first saw my mate I felt like it was an electric surge go through my body but after spending a little time with her I thought maybe it was a mistake.but now I see everything I could ever want in that little lady.Take Care and May God Bless You.

I believe that there are different levels of soulmates....but i think there is more than one person that the "soul mate" relationship can be felt with....I am hoping as one of mine is no longer in my life.

I think so! I am married to mine. I never forgot him and I have ALWAYS LOVED HIM!
We dated in 1987 and broke up. I always thought about him. I moved out of state and he was already out of state. I moved back in 1996 - guess he moved back also. He called on day and we met for a drink - been together ever since.
I look at him in amazement that we are together. I feel complete in my life. I can't imagine being without him ever!
10 years and going strong!
