Ok here’s the situation, my ex and me were always fighting, literally everyday, till one day I said, “you know what I don’t want to do this were always fighting it didn’t use to be like this…” and her reply was “me either I think we should break up” I don’t understand why we cant just stop fighting and screaming at each other, why did we have to break up… can someone explain that to me…?

You opened yerself to that one buddy.
I've been in quite a few realtionships and I rarely argue and fight, and never argued every day. When you get with her again or get with someone else, try listening to what complaints she has rather than get defensive, for her try to get her to see your complaints and if she gets defensive, back up a bit. Stop trying to drive the point home, that usually starts a big fight.
Maybe its the way she complains to you or the way you complain to her. Saying "you know what? I think you're an @s$ for being " usually gets people pretty ticked off with out them even hearing what complaint you had.
As for her breaking it off like that, it could be three things:
1. She is tired of fighting and doesn't see herself continuing with you in the present circumstance of daily agruements.
2. She though that's what you were about to say or trying to say, so she gunned you down first. Better to dump than to be dumped.
3. She said that to see if you would fall to your knees and surrender manhood. You can also easily accomplish this by putting you balls in the palm of her hands.
Sorry buddy, hope it was good when you had her.

If you still love her and want to work this out.. you need to tell her.. its doesn't have to be a break-up.. But sometimes its better that way than hurting each others feelings every single day... IF she truly loves you she would want to work this out.. But now that she is your ex... than u must forget about her.. some things are just not met to be.. no matter how hard you try...

Haha being one of the girls who alwaaaaaays wanna break up, I can answer this question!!
The reason for this is because we're emotional creatures. I don't know about the guys, but I always feel us girls put in a lot of emotional feeling into the relationship..that is we feel super, extremely vulnerable... at least me... And if the relationship is rocky, it feels terrible because it feels like my heart is at the end of the other line...being crushed...one bit at a time...slowly. It's a terrible feeling. Breaking up frees me instantly of that emotional thing. Like I just took back my heart which I had given to the guy for sakekeeping, and I can finally nurse it. I don't know why...but the moment we breakup, although I feel crushed, but I don't feel like my heart is hanging in the balance waiting to be punched and kicked by the guy I gave my heart to.
Don't know if this is dribble...But that's just my view.

Weren't you the one who introduced the idea of breaking up (by saying "I don't want to do this" it's very unclear if you meant "fighting" or "continuing the relationship"). It's a strain on the relationship when people say things out of anger (i.e "You know what? I can't do this anymore!"). Girls don't always want to break up. In my experiences, alot of my girlfriends stay in bad relationships until their guy says 'okay, get away from me.' In the future, if you don't want to break up, don't hint that you want to break up or say "we should break up" because if both of you are fighting, both partners are likely to be hostile. Therefore, out of anger, he/she will agree to the break up.

I wouldn't hang around with someone I constantly fought with. Everyday is a war. How unpleasant.

Because you were fighting and got sick of it- you need to learn a better way to communicate and use problem resolution skills- I wish they would teach that in school!!!! D
