Consider the following costs:
1) The cost of identifying them, what is obstructed by current laws
2) The cost of bringing them to a court, where a judge needs to order the deportation.
3) The cost of finding them after the court has decided their deportation, when they move to a different state with friends or family
4) The cost of actually deporting them, when they are finally found months later.
At the end they will be back after 2,3 days in the border any way...

OK Dar,
I'm going to refute your arguments although I'm not sure you will stop using them...
>If all sanctuary cities are abolished and >immigration status proof is necessary for >school and health care and all benefits, the first >cost virtually goes away.
That's against the constitution and a supreme court decision of 1982, why break the law of the land?
>The cost of bringing them to court only applies >when they need to be brought to court, which >they often don't.
According to the law, they are not required to give ther immigration status to anybody except a judge, they have the right to talk to a lawyer. They may declare against them, but they don't need to and they shouldn't.
>For example, if they agree to voluntarily depart >rather than having a formal deportion and 10 >year ban from the country, they don't need a >judge. If they are within their first 100 days (I >think it is) they don't need a judge, I don't think.
If they don't declare, they need a judge.

Also, the cost of educating the child is going to still be incured in most cases, because the children are American Citizens and they will stay here, DAR... Stop complaining and whining and join me in supporting a comprehensive immigration reform that solves the problem...

You also have to factor in the cost of losing them and what it does to our economy. Many people think that the illegal immigrants come to our land and take take take, and in reality they give just as much, if not more than they take. Alot of people say that the illegal immigrants all come here to get on welfare and abuse the system, and that can't be true because 1) in order to get on welfare you have to have a valid social security number, and a majority of them are to proud to take the handouts. They come here to work like a dog to make enough money to pay their rent here, and then the rest is sent home so that they can help their family live, and eat.
Below is a study that was done and it lists the amounts that Mexican immigrants (with no distinction between legal, and illegal - and not inlcuding the immigrants from other countries as well) and it was done for the state of Arizona only, and it shows how much money the government actually makes off of immigrants.

If all sanctuary cities are abolished and immigration status proof is necessary for school and health care and all benefits, the first cost virtually goes away. Schools require very stringent proof of living in their district and adding immigration status would be easy. Then services would be granted per law but deportation identification would be easy.
The cost of bringing them to court only applies when they need to be brought to court, which they often don't.
For example, if they agree to voluntarily depart rather than having a formal deportion and 10 year ban from the country, they don't need a judge. If they are within their first 100 days (I think it is) they don't need a judge, I don't think.
Where they need a judge, it would sure be a lot cheaper than the cost of educating one of their children for a single year.
They can now be held, so not to have catch and release any more, our President promised, and you know he never lies.
The cost of deporting them is a greyhound bus ticket, or a plane ticket. Again much less than educating one child for a single year.
And if they come back illegally after deportation it is a felony and a 10 year prison term potential, under current law.

The cost of keeping them, far outways the cost of deporting them. Plus, Legal citizens should be the only ones who have the right to live here, For people who have to wait to become citizens, seing illegal immigrants just come through the border is a slap in the face, As is them having anchor babies to pick up cheques.
