It is basicall the same, but windows live messenger is the new version, MSN basically means microsoft network, so, the same company, on live messenger you can make internet calls and that type of thing. xx

There are a lot of new features, the most prevalent I think is the ability to chat with Yahoo members through Windows Live (yahoo Messenger ver. 7+ required if I am not mistaken.)

I find Windows Live Messenger to be more bloated. But other then the interface change, the differences are quite small.

well.. my favorite is that you can leave offline messages now if both parties have Live Messenger.. There are some new and cute backgrounds. I love the animated koi fish pond. A nicer contact box. And much more I am sure.. :) Elaine

Just a change of name from MSN to Live, same program, just a few additions but nothing overly spectacular!

more or less the same, only mail is slower opening with live than normal msn!
