It's so the deaf can understand when you telling them FU! It allows the mute to express themselves. It takes less muscles to extend your middle finger than to smile.

Come on, man! Is that really all you can muster? God gave men *****, and women monkeys, and His plan was to have one man and one women married and have sex with each other. He said that outside of that setting, sex should not take place, yet it happens. Does this mean God is non-existant, or that he is incompetant? No. It simply means that man has chosen not to order his life around God's laws.
Incidently, the Bible nowhere condemns the use of the middle finger as sin. It does however, tell us that Christians should not mar their testimony with filthy communication. Since the middle finger is associated with a negative, explicit phrase, it could be argued that Christians should not perform that signal.
Know this though, that no one is in hell today because they raised the middle finger in an obscene gesture. Everyone who is in hell is there because they rejected the God of the universe.
Hope this helps!
Booyakasha!

It wasn't always wrong. That stigma became associated with the middle finger in the middle ages, I believe. God also gave us voices. If we use them to swear or say hurtful things, that is our decision. He gave us feet, and if we kick people with them, we have to live with the consequences. If God wanted us to choose to always be nice and never get into trouble, He would have made us like rocks. He wouldn't have given us the free will to love Him or disavow Him (among other things).

God made us capable of doing lots of things we aren't suppose to do.....it's called Free Will. It's up to us to decide if we are going to do Right, or Wrong. Society made the middle finger thing (as well as certain "bad" words) wrong, not God. All He said was not to use His name in vain.

If God created guy in his own photograph, then guy exhibits us what God is like, appropriate? What you're asserting is, if God is benevolent and guy is malevolent, then guy isn't made in God's photograph. it somewhat is logical. yet what I say is, God created guy with the capacity for ill, and certainly there could be no longer something in introduction which does no longer encompass polar opposites. I nevertheless have self assurance that guy is made in a twin of god ... and female too, and that tells you plenty approximately what God is like. diverse from how maximum Christians think of him, I fancy.

Oh, didn't you know about Free Will?
Free Will means: "anything imperfect that could otherwise be blamed on God".
Don't expect a real answer here. The ones who ought to be answering this question are still trying to figure out how their opposable thumbs work...
