Geographical correction. If the wind is blowing from the shore to the water on the Florida Gulf coast that's both a easterly wind (blowing east to west) or a northerly wind (blowing North to south). no longer to dis absolutely everyone about which way do you elect the wind blowing even as surf fishing, yet i will in hardship-free words surf fish even as the wind is in my face. Why, you ask? properly, the bait fish are pushed in-land, so it stands to reason that the game fish will persist with the bait fish. So i do not ought to solid as far. ok, now to the middle of the question. Deep Sea fish do not care which way the wind blows. Coastal fish contained in the reef, contained in the bay and back-united states of america parts plus the Freshwater fish have a tendency to chew the ultimate even as the wind is from a westerly route (West, Southwest, Northwest). If the wind is from the south, fishing remains strong, and if out of the North i will nonetheless fish yet use a diverse technique as this wind is cooler and sends the fish to deeper water. Now to recap. West is ultimate, with South a close 2d. North comes is third and if the wind is out of the East, i bypass golf. this may be why my golf recreation has suffered at present. wish that this helps. shop your hooks sharp and your concepts sharper!

When the wind is from the North, wise fisherman do not go forth.
When the wind is from the South, it blows the hook in the fishes mouth.
When the wind is from the East, good fishing is the least.
When the wind is from the West, then the fishing is the best.

It doesn't matter which way the wind is blowing...always fish into the wind. Reason being the wind creates waves which blow into shore bringing morsels of food with them for bait fish, which bigger fish prey on.
