1) The cost of identifying them, what is obstructed by current laws
2) The cost of bringing them to a court, where a judge needs to order the deportation.
3) The cost of finding them after the court has decided their deportation, when they move to a different state with friends or family
4) The cost of actually deporting them, when they are finally found months later.

So that two or three days after all of these, they are back here?? Is it worth it??

JD, what you are proposing is not only against the 1982 ruling of the Supreme Court, but also against the constitution, breaking the law is not a valid proposal.

As You Stated
"breaking the law is not a valid proposal."
ALL ILLEGAL ALIENS Broke The Law
When They ILLEGALLY Entered Our Nation

NO REWARDS For CRIMINAL ACTIVITY

********************************************

DEPORT ALL ILLEGAL ALIENS IMMEDIATELY UPON DISCOVERY

Once The Employer Sanctions Are In Place
(And The Restrictions On Social Services To Non-Citizens)
then within a month there would be ten million
(more or less)
people lined up at the Mexican border
trying to get out of the United States
And Back To Whatever Country They Came From.

For Mexican ILLEGAL Aliens -
I Say Pack Em In Coast Guard C-130s
And Fly Them To The SOUTHERNMOST Point In Mexico
So It Wont Be As Easy To Return

They Will Not Be Dropped Off Just Over The Fence
With A Pat On The Back
And A Hearty " I'll SeeYa Tomorrow Manuel ! " (Labor)
Only To Jump The Fence And Return The Next Day

They'll Have The Whole Country Of Mexico To Travel Through
Just To Reach Our Border

Thats ALOT Of Travel Time To THINK About ILLEGAL Re-Entry

And Awareness Of This Practice
Will Provide Many ILLEGAL Aliens
The Opportunity To LEAVE On Their Own

To Prevent Themselves From Being Sent TOO FAR SOUTH
Of Their Homes In Mexico

OTM ILLEGAL Aliens
Will Be Returned To Their Nations In A Similar Manner

The National Guard And The Coast Guard
Have The EQUIPMENT And The TRAINING
To Effectively Move Large Amounts Of People

Our SOLDIERS Are Crammed Into C - 130s
To Go Overseas To Do Our Warring
ILLEGAL Aliens Shouldnt Be Treated Any Better Or Worse

A C-130 Can Carry Far More ILLEGAL ALIENS
Than A Commercial Airliner Or Bus
Therefore We Can MOVE MORE PER TRIP

Set Up (Build) About Twenty (Thirty) Detention Centers
Throughout The USA
One For Every 3 - 4 States (Average) And Then Some
Many Of Them Along The US/Mexico Border

That Will Provide A Constant Military Prensense
At Strategic Locations On The Border

2000 Beds Per Center Will Be Plenty
The Size Of An Average Federal Prison
Guarded And Operated By
Joint National Guard/Coast Guard Officials

As ILLEGAL Aliens Are Discovered In Our Nation
By Local Law Enforcement And ICE
They Will Be Transported By Bus Or Air
By The National Guard Or Coast Guard
Within 48 - 60 Hours
To The Nearest Detention Center

For IMMEDIATE DEPORTATION
To The Point FURTHEST From The USA
In Their Nation Of Origin

Airstrip(s) At The Newly Constructed Detention Centers
Built By CERTIFIED AMERICAN LABOR
Will Ensure Full Time Operation
And MINIMAL Taxpayer Funded Housing For ILLEGAL ALIENS

The Average Stay For A Deportee
In One Of These Centers Will Be Less Than 48 - 60 Hours

We Will Be Transporting Found ILLEGALS
To The Detention Centers
And Flying Them Out Of The Nation Round The Clock
On Military Cargo Planes

When There Are Enough Detainess To Fill The Plane
The Center Is Emptied
And The Process Begins Again
We Can Move MILLIONS Per Month In This Manner
And The Rate Of Return (Re-Entries)
Will Be All But Halted

Time Of Discovery To Time Of Deportation =
LESS Than 120 Hours (5 Days)

I Think We Should Start Deportation Proceedings
With ALL
FEDERAL Prisoners
State Prisoners
And County Prisoners
That Are ILLEGAL ALIENS

(WE THE PEOPLE Can Play That Castro Game Too)

Using The Number 20 Million ILLEGAL ALIENS To Start
Within 5 Years
There Will Be LESS THAN 1 Million ILLEGAL Aliens
In The USA
And MASS Deportation Will Be A Thing Of The Past
But DEPORTATION Of ALL ILLEGAL ALIENS Upon Discovery
Will Be Regular Maintenance Of Homeland Security

At That Point,
Mexico Will Be FORCED
To Deal With Her Poverty
As Thousand And Thousands
Of ANGRY, Homeless MEXICAN Ctizens
Are Turned Loose In Mexicos Southwest
After Being Deported From The US Southwest

Same Scenario In OTM Nations

Efficient Military Scheduling
And Efficient Military Operational "TROOP MOVEMENT"
Will Provide Swift, Affordable Deportation
At The Wholesale Cost Of Military Freight

Humane Enough For Our TROOPS
Humane Enough For Our Deportees

Make Deportation A MILITARY OPERATION
And It Will Get Done With Military Precision

Simple, Easy, Painless, Cost Effective

Humane, Cost Efficient Repatriaton Of ILLEGAL ALIENS

LESS Than 1/2 The PROJECTED Costs
Of COMMERCIAL TRANSPORTATION
(Greyhounds/TWA Etc.)

Cost Of Deportation
Is No Longer An Arguement For Amnesty

WE THE PEOPLE
The TAXPAYERS
CAN AFFORD To DEPORT All ILLEGAL Aliens
To Their Nation Of Origin

For Anne A (Below)

A serious commitment to border security
would require fencing off the entire southern border—
all 1,891 miles of it.
(For comparison, we have 40,000 miles of Interstate highways.)

At $1.7 million per mile
(the cost of the first 10 mile stretch in San Diego),
the entire U.S.-Mexican border (all 1,891 miles of it)
could be sealed off for $3.3 billion dollars.

Iraq spending equivalent: 13.8 days.

Cost/benefit analysis, anyone?

You have to stay in custody once you are in court for deportation ,so they already have you .I think we could just pass a law that allows a judge/judges to order mass deportation ,since they are illegal in the first place why do they get any rights as to a court date? They are not citizens so they don't have the same legal rights to a trial.Just order the deportation for all illegals to report to a central debarkation point and begin the process.
You could go by alphabetical order as to not have them all there at the same time and provide transportation for them to get there .It would not be an over night process but it could be done. That's why we legal citizens need to have a counterfeiter proof national ID card.
The cost would be high yes by combined with secured borders ,it would mean a very substantial savings in the long run.Sound heartless to you ? Well I am a realist and I see daily the damage being done to this country by illegals, flooding this country. Its time to protect America .
This nation is for all LEGAL resident's,not a haven for illegal aliens.I'm not even close to being a racists but if it makes you feel better please go ahead.I am in fact a realist.

Bunt ... do you think the minuscule amount you pay in taxes will pay for all the illegals that are paid daily in cash, and thus pay no income taxes at all,the few penny's in sales tax just doesn't quite cover the cost we legal Americans pay to support them and their children.

Yes it is worth the cost and yes two or three days later they might be back. But before they are deported to their country they re given a warning letter advising them how long they must remain outside the US before they can legally come back and the chance of being prosecuted under title 8 USC 1326a which carries a prison term of 2 years or title 8 usc 1324 a&b which carries a twenty year prison term if they return after having been deported from the US.

The are fully aware of the risks should they decide to return after having been deported. This is one way of fighting illegal immigration but it just adds more burden to the already over worked judicial system.

If the cost is the problem, ask to Mr. Bush to deport the Arabs in Guantanamo and then send the bill to their countries.

Anyone who says "yes" to your question is not really concerned with the cost of deporting illegals.
The cost of the war,,,the wall...or any other cost. How about all of our debt that Bush has sold to China? Why arent people concerned about that?

Questions like this one just fire everyone up on both sides. It wont happen, no one is going to send them back! And, why is it that we focus on the Latin Americans when there are immigrants from all over the planet here illegally? The white ones don't seem to be an issue...WHY?

Yeah, yeah...and the cost of a better border and more border patrol officers.
Ask again when you have the figures of how much American taxpayers will save after they are gone.
1) The cost of educating them and their children
2) The cost of their welfare
3) The cost of jailing the illegals who commit other crimes while they are here
4) The cost of translaters
Should I go on?

Every last penny. Is the Iraq war worth it? Deportation is cheaper and getting cheaper by the minute.

I refuse to pay for Washington's mistakes anymore.

NO. When the crops are rotting in the fields and prices are rising higher and higher at the supermarket and none of the good old boys who stand on the side of the streets with signs for handouts or the thugs that go around with spare time to vandalize others property and put graffiti on everything crying I'm bored and wait on mommy and daddy to hand them everything aren't going to go out there and take those low paying jobs because they're to good for that then we will be wishing for those illegals. They aren't afraid to put in an honest days wages for dis-honest pay. To them it's better than going hungry and they can feel proud when they buy something because they earned the money.

I think with all of the money we have wasted on Homeland Security and billions in pretending to build a border fence, all of that wasted money could have covered it by now.

i dont think so. i think they should make sure no more ILLEGAL immigrants come in but they should help the ones to become citizens that are already here. these racist people dont realize that most of them that are here are hard working, mostly doing jobs americans dont wanna do. if we deported them all houses, etc.. would be more expensive. we need to spend that money in preventive ways so more dont come in. leave the ones here alone.
