The poor because the rich are comforted in their riches. The Bible says " It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God."

The extremes. Super rich and super poor could make them deny the existence of god. The in-betweens struggle to find truth about it but belief is divided in three categories...the believer, the non-believer(which is a form of belief also), the ambivalent...the hopeful, the hopeless, the whatever.

Agree with LilHudnal...The word says it's easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter into heaven.
Used in a parable describing a rich man who chose wealth over living for and following Christ, Jesus quoted in 3 books from 3 unrelated sources.

The poor, who need something to make them feel better. The rich are more likely to pretend they are super religious so they can lead the poor around and control them. Look at all the religious leaders in America-- they are all super-rich and still asking for old people's money. (Jerry Falwell, a prime example).

Bible says it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter Heaven. Why? Because money becomes their god and they never learn to rely on the one true God.

I'd say the poor. The poor need something to give them hope and religion fits the bill. The rich have all their needs taken care of, so they don't really need to hope for things.

The poor.
The rich are already blessed by their god. I'm not saying the rich can't need God cause money can not save a life when it has reached it's end. But the poor have much more reason to rely on God to get them through the rough times. In order to rely on God, you have to believe in him.
