Everything depends upon the mood. Coffee for me sounds like we will be having some serious talks.... While ice cream, sounds sweet, mushy and light moments. It doesn't really matter what the guy would offer...i think what's important is the guy is sensitive enough to read between the line...and learn to offer what the situation requires.

do i have to choose? i like them both!!! lol I still would probably go for the coffee though because usually coffee houses and that are more quiet so that u and the girl can talk and get to know one another and what not while in an ice cream parlor or wherever, usually have a bunch of little kids running around and it's not quite as quiet or romantic.

None. If i was the girl you tried this on - i would feel offended. These sound very kiddish. If you really want a positive response...Try something like - "Care for a cup of coffee with me....Actually i like it extra sweet, and i guess your presence would sweeten it just right"
