Microwave Cooking of Eggs
Scrambled Eggs - In 10-ounce custard cup, beat together 2 eggs, and 2 tablespoons milk with salt and pepper to taste, if desired, until blended. Cook on full power, stirring once or twice, until almost set, about 1 to 1 1/2 minutes. Stir. If necessary, cover with plastic wrap and let stand until eggs are thickened and no visible liquid egg remains, about 1 minute. NOTE: All microwave cooking times are based on a full power output of 600 to 700 watts. For a lower wattage oven, allow more time.
1 egg: 30 to 45 seconds
2 eggs: 1 to 1-1/2 minutes
4 eggs: 2-1/2 to 3 minutes
6 eggs: 3-1/2 to 4-1/2 minutes
8 eggs: 4-1/2 to 5-1/2 minutes

I don't think it would destroy any nutrients, I used to do scrambled eggs in the microwave all the time. They are good. Just scramble the egg in a coffee mug and add some butter and milk and cook it for about a minute and then stir and cook for another minute or so. You may need to adjust this cooking time for your microwave, but just stir every now and then and put it back if it's not done enough for you.

Yes, it is. Get a microwave bowl that a small, normal bagel would fit in. Put 2 eggs in the bowl and whip them with a hand egg beater. About 45 seconds will do. Then warm the bagel and pull it apart of cut it into two sides. Then put the eggs in for 90 seconds. And watch. At about one minute the eggs will expand upward - they will be about 7 inches around and expand up about 8, 9, or 10 inches - then the weight will be too much to support and they will fold over. The eggs will recede until they are about 3 or 4 inches high. It varies. Put them between the bagels and eat. Very good and with a little practice you cam make them in 2 minutes. 8>)

I make great scrambled eggs in the wave. Use a safe bowl and spray it with cooking spray before you do anything. Then scramble the eggs with a dash of water from the tap and salt and pepper to taste. Put in for a minute and then stir. Put in for another minute and then stir. Keep doing this until it gets to the consistency you like. You can add chunked up meats and veggies and cheese, too, to make a scrambled omlette! Remember, the heat will continue cooking the eggs after they're out of the wave, so keep them just on the runny side of how you like them. Good luck!

cooking eggs in the microwave will not destroy the nutrients any more than it would destroy the nutrients of anyother food. I suggest you crack them and scramble them though, eggs in the shell explode in a microwave.

Put the microwave on 'medium' or even 'thaw'. Take them out every minute or so and stir. On 'high', the eggs will cook too fast and burn.

I think try poking a hole in the shell with a pin to stop a buildup of pressure and then just stick it in there.

It's tricky, but it can be done. My father used to do it, using a glass measuring cup. I'm out of practice.
