If millions of illegal aliens can come from Mexico to get a job to send money back home for their kids then certainly you can too. Children deserve more from their father than, "What is the minimum I must pay to support my kids?"

No matter what state you are in, child support is calculated by a formula. In Texas it is:
Question: How is child support calculated in Texas?
Answer: The monthly resources of the person paying support are used to determine child support. Calculations are made by taking the gross pay and subtracting taxes withheld and insurance coverage for the child(ren) only. Then the net resources are multiplied by a percentage depending on the number of children involved. For example, if the net resources were $3000/mn. and there are 2 children, 25% of the $3000/mn resulting is a figure of $750 for child support.

Don't use being unemployed as an excuse to not pay support!! Be a man and get a job to support the children you brought into this world!! Do you have any idea how hard it is for a single Mother to support 3 kids?? I DO!! You can't look at it as giving your ex money, you are FEEDING AND CLOTHING AND SUPPORTING YOUR CHILDREN!! You need to be the Father you are and help them!! I think all you deadbeats should be in jail and let out only to work so your whole check can go to the children!!!

It's based on income alright but there seems to be a min/per child of $200/mo. Thing is, any arrest for anything and you're out picking up trash alongside the highway for less than minimum wage and that gets garnished.
Any professional license is suspended, such as lawyer, chiropracter or even Concealed Weapons Permit. But hey, got late on student loan does the same thing. You're not supposed to buy a fishing license, but hey, they can't watch all the Walmarts.
At least in Texas it's all said and done when the kid gets to age 18.

First of all the attorney general will force you to be employed when the mom files child support or you will go to jail. Second its 25% of your earnings for the first child and 5% for each additional one. If another women files against you also she will only get 5% for each child because the 25% was all ready taken by the first mother. So you might want to start checking the classifieds buddy.

Just be greatful you're not in California, as for Texas, who knows, but at least you won't have to pay an adulterous wife alimony, child support, half your 401K and half your pension, and if you were the adulterer, whatever it is $, you get no sympathy from me, you "made em" you "pay em".

dude take care of your kids! find a job,they will give you a couple options unless you are dieing,pay or pay more..get a job do the right thing for your kids,they don't need to be on welfare!
