Neither, Austin is great but San Antonio is similar with more housing and job oppertunities. Also San Antonio has more of a Mexican influence, which I like, but it's not for everyone. In between Austin and San Antonio is San Marcos where Texas State is. San Marcos is my favorite place I've ever lived in Texas but you may have to commute to the other cities for a higher paying job. I live in Austin so there is my bias.

Both cities have undervalued real estate prices, so either is a great choice for affordable housing. Houston is probably more diverse culturally, if that's important to you (got no facts to base this on, just what I heard once from someone)

Houston Baby!! im here! Dallas is to upity...they are kinda snobby there. Houston has more of a varity too. There is something for everyone here! You will love it!

Hartford, Connecticut (C'mon, CT desires yet another team! Ever because of fact the Whalers left all we've had is the Connecticut sunlight from the WNBA) and then they the two become the Hartford purple Sox or the Hartford darkish Blues (harking back to between the unique NL communities) BQ: Why the hell no longer?

Actually...depends on why your asking...if your going to be gutta(hardcore) HTown does the job. Dallas is better for education and parties but you can get shot justy as fast!!

They both suck! Dallas is snotty and Houston is cowboy corprate. If your moving to Texas, Austin is the only place.

If you like museums and shopping, then Dallas. If you like the nightlife and cuisine, then Houston.
