Here is the deal I have worked with this guy for four years (part time job only work 25 days a year, he owns the company) I am attracted to him. Three years ago I went in to work on Christmas Eve and we spent the whole evening alone talking and really getting to know each other. Felt like a good first date. Finally a few months later decided to ask him out in a around about way (asked him to give me some golf pointers) He said he couldn't because he was seeing someone, they later got engaged but that is off now. Since his engagment broke off last year he has seemed really attracted to me, makes excuses to talk to me, come see me at work when I am there, rubs my neck, jokes around. We have had a couple situations where we have fought like cats and dogs at work, mainly because we are too much alike, but we always make up, we even had to have one on ones after each shift, because he said I never come see him anymore. I did do that and looked forward to it. What should I do.

So I worked today and he was flirty and made a point to call me at my post and say hi. I want to go for it but don't know how to do it and still save face if it blows up.

I think you have known him long enough to just take the plunge and ask him. Either he is trying to determine whether or not you'll give him a second chance or he is playing with you. Either way, my opinion is that it is best to get it out on the table and see where he stands. If he wants another chance, why waste time trying to send him the "okay" signal indirectly? And if he is playing with you, make him admit it and show him how quickly you can move on.

Sounds to me like, "he's just not that into u". i guess i can understand him shuttin u down when he was seeing someone. but if he's single now and still hasn't made a move it sounds to me like he probably doesn't look at u the same as u do him. i could be wrong. but i think, since u already attempted to ask him out, u should continue being friendly with him and let him be a man and show some interest in u.
