I want to ask out a girl that I have been running into "by accident" on her way back home after grad school (we're both grad school students, different depts that have 0 interaction) today is a friday.... do I say to her "Hey ! any plans for today.... have you been to the .....(she hasn't for sure, she;s been here for just a month) how abt we go?" get those answers in quick, guys..... i dont have much time.

Say Hi to her and see if she is responsive in an answer. You may want to ask her if she would like you to show her some cool places to go out at night since she is new to the area. If she seems interested you can take it from there. Go somewhere public so that both of you can chat and she will feel comfortable in a busy setting.

You should ask her, "Hey! Any plans for today..." like you suggested. Don't compliment her right away 'cause that is being too forward. Like later on, say "Now that I've gotten to know you better, you seem really..." Something like that.

A guy did that to me before, he asked me "Any good places around here to eat?" and before I knew it we were out on a date that night! Just ask her if she's ever been to a restaruant of your chouice and then see if shed like to get some dinner with you tonight. Just plain and simple. I like you and would like to see you again. What girl isn't going to be flattered?

Just be casual and relaxed. Sweaty nervous guys can be cute sometimes, but usually it's a sign of low confidence and girls need someone who is more confident than that.
