in a/w however you will still get those who have no idea what the a-slash-w actually is.
You can also do in acc/w but if you are looking at this as part of a legal document or any document that is of an agreement type nature....spell it all out. The short form is really only acceptable within rough notes or inner office correspondence and normally isn't used in official letters, legal documents, etc.

Use the word "per".
"The contractor will perform the work per the contract of March 3, 2006."
